Painting with Dirt

Great for experiencing cause and effect (dirt into paint) and visual discrimination (dirt comes in different colors)!

Assorted colors of dirt collected with color variations in different ziplock bags

Rolling pin

Small cups

White liquid glue

White or black construction paper

1.Use rolling pin to break up dirt inside of the zipped bags into finely ground texture.

2.Add each color of dirt into a separate container and add a tablespoon of white glue and water until the mixture is the consistency of ketchup.

3.Cover the work area with newspaper.

4.Use brushes to paint with dirt paint.
