Painting with Dirt
Great for experiencing cause and effect (dirt into paint) and visual discrimination (dirt comes in different colors)!
Materials:
Assorted colors of dirt collected with color variations in different ziplock bags
Rolling pin
Small cups
Water
White liquid glue
Newspaper
White or black construction paper
Brushes
Procedure:
1.Use rolling pin to break up dirt inside of the zipped bags into finely ground texture.
2.Add each color of dirt into a separate container and add a tablespoon of white glue and water until the mixture is the consistency of ketchup.
3.Cover the work area with newspaper.
4.Use brushes to paint with dirt paint.
